Lets Go to Chesterfield to see its beauty

Stainsby Mill In Chesterfield

It must be necessary to stay in chesterfield about 6 or 7 days to visit all its beautiful sites. Lots of hotels in chesterfield uk are available at very low room rates. One of its best and enormous beautiful places is Stainsby Mill. This is a small working mill situated just outside the entrance to the Hardwick Hall estate. Stainsby Mill offers visitors the chance to see a 19th Century watermill in full working order, set in some of the most attractive Derbyshire countryside you could imagine. The enormous 17-foot waterwheel turns and powers the grinding millstones, producing fresh flour that is available for sale on site. The miller is only there on a Thursday but the guides are very knowledgeable about the mill stones and how the flour is ground. You can park almost outside and aim to spend about 20-30 minutes unless the miller is there in which case you might spend longer. Free for NT members so other people might think it expensive for a short visit. The National Trust has been entrusted with the upkeep and preservation of this fascinating piece of industrial history.
